2023 Consolidated Election Information

The 2023 Consolidated Election for Village of Burlington local officials will be held on April 4, 2023. This will include the election for the following offices:

 

Village Trustees (3 seats) – (4) Four-year term

 

Candidate Information

Please consult with the 2023 Candidates Guide provided by the Illinois State Board of Elections for information regarding election information, signature requirements, and filing guidelines. The Kane County Clerk's website provides electronic files which will provide the election results from previous elections. Please visit the State Board of Elections' website periodically for any changes or amendments to the 2023 Candidates Guide.

Nomination papers will be accepted for filing at the Village Hall at 175 Water Street, Burlington, Illinois during these times:

  • December 12th, 14th, and 15th : 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
  • December 19th: 10:00 am to 5:00 pm

Candidates need to file the following documents with the Village Clerk: 

Statement of Candidacy

Statement of Economic Interest Receipt

Petitions 

Loyalty Oath (optional)
